Very cool. When I was in high school, in the early eighties, my dream car was an MGB. Best of luck with the final steps of your resto! Here's my 65 mg midget. I bought it in 1999 and it took just around 13 years to get it nearly done. I have punch list of things to tackle to get it to daily driver status.View attachment 4290597 View attachment 4290599 View attachment 4290600 View attachment 4290601 View attachment 4290602
Good sign if you own vs. rent!Thank you, ShawnG.
Mike N was right.
I think you can see my confusing it with the Miata in post #85.
A thought which just came to me: All these nice, very expensive cars are starting to show up in my neighborhood lately.
What is going on?
Mike
I don't care how impractical they may be...I love those '70s "land yachts"! I'm especially partial to the Lincoln Continental Mark IV with the opera window:Hey gang, I've been AWOL from this thread for awhile, but tonight I saw this thick slab of 1970s awesomeness right in downtown Philly, which is truly inspiring. It's a Mercury Cougar, and I remember my grandfather having similar Lincolns back in the day. This particular cat was really decked out, with fur wraps on the seatbelts and--dig this--a naked inflatable doll in the front passenger's seat! Time to fire up Foghat's "Slow Ride" on the eight-track and drive to Vegas.

both trucks I owned the lights were stacked. I looked around the truck all emblems had been removed, so not sure what this truck is. I figured it's old maybe 80 something judging by the chrome pull up handles and the chrome bumper and grill anyone know that this is?
Mike I was thinking that as well, but the thing that has been throwing me off was the grill has 3 bars, but I believe it to be a Datsun 720 range 81-86Looks like a Datsun truck.

Hello again, car aficionados.
Someone owns this Jaguar a few blocks from me, and I would love to buy it off him. I love the older Jags that were long and lean. I'm guessing it's a year 2000.
Forgive me if I've already posted this.
Enjoy.
