I'm looking into getting a nice fuzz pedal to use with my bass. Now I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions as to which sound good with bass. I don't wanna lose all my low end if you dig:)
also, i'm hoping to keep it under 100 bucks if possible. thanks

I wouldn't call the blowtorch a fuzz - it's too neat n' tidy sounding. I'm beginning to think all MXR pedals are too neat n' tidy for me actually - I'm slowly developing a small pile of them I need to sell.

Well, it's certainly not an overdrive pedal, and by conventional definitions of distortion, I wouldn't call it that, either. :p

ooo i really like the musicelectronix messdrive! where can i get one?

From the guys who make it. :p

It's too "scratchy" to be a fuzz, IMO. That's as descriptive as I'm feeling today, sorry...

I have to confess I am not enjoying trying to find the "right" fuzz pedal as much as I thought I would. Main issue being that with every pedal I try, I find one sound or feature that I think might be useful, and I can't afford to keep them all.

Next on my list is a Brown Dog, but Chunk/Godlyke don't have any UK dealers at the moment so I'd have to import one. :(
