Goodwill bass

I want the blue thing that looks like a deco radio off to the left! Bet it even has a shortwave band on it if it is a radio.

Old radio tech rules!

Actually looks like a pretty nice Goodwill, the presentation, anyways...

... our local is most often equipped with characters straight off of, 'The Island of Misfit Toys', incomplete decks of cards, rusty pots and pans labeled as camping gear, and all sorts of other valuable commodities...

... and yet, I still feel blessed.

Ours is about the same. And the staff doesn't always seem to understand what Goidwill is there for.

But it is what it is - and it's better it's there than not.

The brother of the guitarist in a band I was in back in the '70's had a bass just like that one. It was a Kent. I had just gotten my '76 P bass and used to laugh at his. I remember calling it "kindling" instead of Kent. He hated that. The stings were so far from the neck they had to call a cab to get there. Pitiful. I hope yours is in better shape. Anytime you pay less for a bass than you do for the strings you're putting on it, you're miles ahead. Good job!

So true, 40... my only regret is no camping trip for the family, this year, and the weekly poker games are postponed, until further notice...

Yeah. Same here. Short of going into NYC overnight ($$$) a few weeks ago to see Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters at B.B.Kings (feels a little weird now that Jim Mouradian has passed on and is no longer filling the bass slot) that's it for our vacation plans this year too. Just too much going on right now to get away or spend money just running around.

So it goes. Alex and I have our health and each other, so it's all good.

Again, well put... so important.
