I figured somebody would catch that. I really only took that picture to send to my mom (she won't notice) so I wasn't actually playing there.
But to answer your question I find the acoustic sound to be quite pleasant.

I took the plunge and bought my GT-7 on E-bay. Because of the time difference (I'm in the UK and the bass was in the US) the auction ended at 4.45am !! Luckily some strong tea (how english is that !) kept me awake to see my bid through.
I hope you get as much enjoyment out of your GT-7 as I do out of mine !!

I like the design better that the original. Looks like a bass I'd buy now. Never liked the Conklin shape too much.
