I have been researching the Fender Rumbles and they have a good reputation - and I'm delighted they are so light!! I'd love to have one in the 40-100W range. Sounds to me like a good choice, and affordable, too. But I'd look more at the 100 so i had a more versatile amp. You can always turn it down.
I haven't seen any comments about the sequencing of the series as it transitioned from orange to burgundy. I like both, but I have always had a soft spot for the Gretsch orange, so I'm happy to have one of that series.
The TI strings have a great reputation, but my favorites are the Labella Deep Talkin' Flats 760FL in .043-.104 gauge.
BUT NOTE: due to the design of the bridge and tailpiece, these basses need longer strings than is normal for the scale length. Measure the distance from the tailpiece to the nut and you'll see that this bass requires at least medium scale strings.
