I'm 22 have been playing 12 years and cut my teeth in metal and punk. Some of the most intricate and complex music is metal. I can hold my own in just about any kind of music because of learning those lines. Is intricacy and complexity everything? Not by a long shot, but don't rip on something you don't know about.

So since we're all here discussing Bluewine and his shennanigans.......
I have a question for most of you that have read the BW Chronicles... (legendary posts by bluewine)....
Is it just me or does the attitude and behavior in his posts not allign with how he portrays his integrity and pro attitude when talking about his auditions and rehearsals?
Not trying to call him out or be insulting in any way but the threads are pretty jekyl and hyde.

I dont think the way people handle themselves online will always correlate to how they behave in the real world.
Like for instance if this was a real world convo, for the most part most of the hositlity towards him would be held under breath or said to a friend.
And in the real world his view would actually be the majority opinion because grindcore isnt very popular in comparison to other genres, and most people arent musicians like us here. So they wouldnt go about their analysis the way anyone here would.
At least thats my view

I have not been stirring the pot.. I have been posting in the discussion continually and NOT just getting a rise and then stepping out.

Upset? I was not at all. I just thought the thread was going off base and turning into insults and way too much hostility. So at that point it did not seem useful to the TB community to have open. And most forums I am on would of closed this thread already due to the behavior within it.
And I stand by my statement that you stirred the pot. This thread has been delving off into the negative for a while, and then your response to my post I felt was highly off base. Thus, adding to a silly, and what I feel is now, a pointless thread.

Well first of all insults and hostility were pretty present in your first reply to me.
Secondly the beautiful part about a forum is that its HUGE. If you dont think this is useful to the community thats fine but calling for it to be closed is not something you should do. There are plenty of people posting on this thread so let them be.
Third... if many other forums that you go to would have closed the thread thats fine.... and has nothing to do with this.

Electric heaters are useful when the heat decides to go on the fritz. I have one in my bedroom because so much air comes in through my windows somehow.
