Indeed. I mean really, what's more likely, that everyone is reading your posts incorrectly and missing your point? Or that you are not being clear with your point and/or being inconsistent with your points?

I find it funny that this guy cant have an opinion without people taking pot shots or insulting him through this thread.

If this was real life more than half the people here would not make the hostile responses they do to his opinion. Youd prolly just talk behind his back to your friends, which I see as the more realistic outcome.

I just dont see why people get so upset about someones musical opinion. Let him and everyone else have their opinion and keep it moving.

Someone insulting a genre they've listened to is one thing, like if I said I thought baroque music was written entirely by drugged our charlatans and sounds like kittens getting run over by a train, for instance. When some one disses an entire genre, and then admits to having never listened to it, that's just stupid, and the sign of a closed mind.

I don't think most people here have any problem with someone having their opinions. But this is a discussion board, and for some reason he felt the need to start a thread specifically to state his opinion. And not only did he go about it in a rude and unnecessary manner, but he than clarified that he has never even heard the genre that he's insulting. He could have kept his opinion to himself, but for some reason he decided to make a thread just to state it. That seems to invite criticism.

EXACTLY!!! I have an idea, LISTEN TO SOMETHING BEFORE MAKING A DECISION!!! I didn't just decide to not like country music, or classic rock. I heard it, did not like it, decision made. Blue, you have made a giant idiot out of yourself by admitting you never listened to the genre. How do you know what it sounds like then? Congrats on becoming an unreliable source of information on Grindcore music.
