GTG Oakland Feb 6th

Awesome, a Bay Area GTG! I will have to try and make this. I don't have much in the way of fun toys to bring. I'm hoping to have some Berg or Barefaced cabs, but that won't happen until late Feb early March.

I can bring:
Fender USA Jazz with J-Retro and Delano JMVC 4 FE/M2 pickups
Fender Road Worn Jazz
Mesa M6 head
Mesa PH1000 cabinet. (I'll bring this out if someone wants to check it out otherwise it will stay at the studio).

Bringing my STR, HMR and the tattoo bass,

my humble pedalboard,

and I can also bring a DB750/2xDB112 rig if people want to check that out for some reason, otherwise I'll just bring something small and light like my BX500 and a couple yamaha 110's or my Trace V300 combo or something.

Luckily, I normally work on Sunday but that got canceled thanks to the super bowl, and I don't give a rats tiny patootie about football, so it works out well for me!

Not exactly - turns out that's the same day my mom will be admitted to the hospital (she's having cataract surgery done), and I'm driving her there. I had though it was the Sunday before the GTG...

Someone mentioned awhile back seeing both Living Colour and Fishbone on the same bill...I would LOVE to see that show!

i got to play basketball with a few of the cats from Fishbone backstage at the Lollapalooza near me that Primus headlined back in the day. Les and Ler were standing there watching us play, and at a break in the game i was getting some water and Ler said something like, "you're good at this." i said "Thanks meng", turned to see that it was one of my favorite musicians EVAH, and stuttered out a ,"i.... um... don't know how to.... talk to you..." when Les said hello.
