GTG Oakland Feb 6th

STUPID.

I can bring

Pedulla Rapture JJ2 5 -string
Fender MIM Fretless

EBS BassIQ (envelope filter)
Aphex Punch Factory (optical compressor)
Xotic BB Bass preamp (overdrive / preamp)
Digitech X synth wah (octave /envelope filter / synth)

I'd just as soon not bring amp & cabinet if we have enough. I have Thunderfunk + Bergantino HT12ER stack - if there is a special request I can bring it.

Just ran into Chris from Daring Audio at Gelb Music... He had a few pedals with him and they look HOT (didn't have a chance to try them). He'll definitely be there Sunday.

Here's some stuff I'll be bringing:

Ken Lawrence Joust 11-string
Phil Jones Briefcase x2
Pedal Jeanie Battery-powered Pedal Board... you guys will get a kick out of this.

Some random effects, but I'm not as boutique-y as you other guys... just standard Boss stuff, a couple of Xotic pedals.

I also have a couple of Accugroove Tri112 that I'm planning on selling... if any one is interested in checking them out I can probably fit them in too.

There's a lot of stuff I'm looking forward to trying (looking at you JoshB and Behndy)

woof. i got to wobble on one of your basses for a hinute at Thom's that time. MEATY. makes me feel like a little grrL for just having the 6 strings. i've been curious about the battery-powered board too.

nice! see you there pimp!

Not gonna lie, I miss living in RWC mostly because of Gelb being so close by...now it's an hour trek to get over there!

Looking forward to seeing this battery powered pedalboard Jean!!

Well, as I recall, there are some costs associated with this. Some of us said we'd pick up the slack, but I'd suggest that everyone who comes kick in $5 (or $10 - Behndy could comment on the total and we can figure based on the number of us who say we're coming) to cover the rental, and if we hit that cost, extra goes to some music-related charity.

The $ gets you a ticket, and we do a straight raffle based on that.

That's my thought.

Sounds like an awesome plan to me.

oooo!! yeah, let's do THAT. i want me a mono strap. maybe do a raffle then first winners get first choice?

the day rental is $200. i don't want anybody to pay more than $10, so i've got the extra if there ends up less than 20 folksors.

raffles are neat!

mudd - $650 each or $1200 for the pair.... I also have a (somewhat) large list of boutique-y pedals I would trade towards (eventide timefactor, goatkeeper, strymon blue sky, etc.).

Funny thing, these are the only 2 Accugroove cabinets in existence with tolex.... yes, no fur. Pretty much brand new too (this event will be their public debut).

Joshb - Yeah, it's nice to have Gelb close-by.

I'll donate a shiny new low C# string for the raffle, great for whipping people with.
