Guild Pilot bass club?

Did Guild ever use Badass bridges on their Pilots? Have owned a few over the years and am picking up one from '85 w/ a silver BA. Rest is black hardware. Thinking its and aftermarket but definitely an older mid 80's BA and ya just never know.

While Guild has been know to mix their hardware, (see example below) they never used Badass bridges.

Yep. Trading into it. Played Pilots exclusively in the 80's. Had one or two over the years. Preferred the pick guard normal P pickup positioning models but had single pickup model that was pretty hip. Never owned a painted neck one. Unloading a parts bass Im not using for it. Appreciate your input.

Just got another Pilot yesterday (well, I fished it out of the 'Bay yesterday, it hasn't arrived yet). Like almost everyone I had one in the late 80's and just threw out a low bid and won one Pics when she arrives

Great pictures! I had a beautiful 90's Pilot that had a flamed maple sunburst body with Bartolini P/J pickups and an ebony neck with block inlays and binding around it. Loved that one! Guild Pilots are very underrated.

My Pilot arrived all pretzel-necked. I bought the 1/4" wrench at Lowe's as described earlier in the thread (good call!) but it hasn't helped. The neck is bowed and won't straighten. Very disappointing but it happens I suppose.

Give it a little time. Necks sometimes need to be adjusted a little every couple of days in order to get used to their new environment (humidity, mostly)

should be an early 1994 Pilot Pro 5, maple neck, poplar body.

I had my 1990 Pilot equipped with a Nordstrand Bigsplit and Nordstrand P:

best decision ever.
