Nice.Hello again, everyone...
So, the new Pilot is now in the post and on it's way to me - I am, of course, very excited and cannot wait until it arrives...When it does, I will share it's story and more fotos...
However, this Pilot is missing it's original truss rod cover which I will replace one way or another...So, I can start by asking if anyone here has one lying around that they would part with...? Or, perhaps a tip as to a source for a suitable "homemade" replacement...?
Thanks in "Advanced"...

I’ve lost the specs for the proper fretboard diameter on the Pilot Pro 5.
If you can help me out , I’d certainly appreciate it.
Have fun.Goid Morning to all who still hang around here...
My newest Pilot - shown here fresh out of the box on monday...I popped the neck back on and will now use the coming weekend to shine it up and put it back together - more fotos to follow...
Have a great day...

@EWH That is a fine group of basses. I don't have a natural finish on the right, and they all look to be in excellent condition! Very nice.

I vote for trans-purple burst!
I was just telling my wife what a damn shame it is that my Peavey TL-Six is covered in "black" (more like turd brown) stain when there's all that maple and purpleheart underneath.![]()
