Guilt

I have a split pickup p bass I wanted another single coil p bass like the 56 I got rid of years ago, which I regret, but this bass smokes that one, just feel like I wanna come clean but yet I don’t because I know the ramifications

I’m not the type to hide anything from my girl, but again I won’t go and say, “ hey, do you like my new (add name of new toy here)? I just bought it. “ if she asks if something is new, I will tell her though.

She laughs when I say I’m going to sell some gear to buy new stuff. She says “no you won’t”. She is a pretty good sport actually.

She doesn’t like spending money on herself, so I normally will end up buying it for her. She has been looking at a Michael Koors purse lately, and as soon as I figure out which size to get, I’m going to suprise her with it. The history on her iPad makes it so easy for me to figure out little surprises. Of course she might be doing that on purpose, knowing I’ll look. She might have me figured out more than I care to admit. ;)

The question is why do you feel guilty? Why do you feel like you have done something that you shouldn't have done? Is it because you legitimately shouldn't have bought the bass, or is it because you're worried that your wife thinks you shouldn't have bought the bass? Those are two very different things. The former which you should probably listen to, the latter, which you should probably ignore and keep the bass between you and the amplifier....:smug:
She will think I shouldn’t have , it’s just hiding it , that’s where I feel guilty cause if I tell her war!

i just sprung for a Nash pb-52 and haven’t told my wife, should I feel as guilty as I do?

I sneak stuff in all the time, basses (and amps) all look the same to her (I'm a lucky man). I give her money anytime she wants it and buy her whatever she wants, she still gets PO'ed if I buy anything expensive so I don't tell her and I don't feel guilty at all because I know how unreasonable:laugh: she can be when I do tell her.
