I just snagged a GK combo, and was able to get 2-day shipping for $9, plus put it on my PayPal CC, PLUS have it shipped to my work. I'm waiting to see if it all pans out, but I'm not sure I'd be able to do any of those if I were to call in.
Something's wonky with the shipping. I attempted checkouts on a few different items from all over the country. For me, ground was roughly $6 and overnight was $25 for basses from random spots all over the country.

Ground was about $5, 2-day was $9, Overnight was around $25, IIRC. Like I said, waiting to see if it pans out. Expecting to either be told it was already sold or that shipping will be more expensive.
Then it's gotta be a glitch in our favor. Seems like ground, 2 day and overnight all have flat rates regardless of origin and destination.
That's what I was seeing to. I picked the 2 day $9, we'll see if I get it or not.
The GC site claims my order shipped! Whatever's going on with their shipping calculations doesn't seem to be a big enough deal for them to cancel orders.
$700+shipping? Whats that dude smoking. I sold a mint white one with a hardcase for $500.

trying for a quick $500 flipped profit. I am "that dude" quoted in the description, but I never met the seller. G--that is a refin though, it's not walnut. Also they never fixed the stripped bridge screw..the neck is really not good..and the nut needs to be lowered. What a rip.

Should have the amp tomorrow, according to UPS. It's already in-town today, so it'll be sitting around, twiddling it's thumbs. Oh well.

It wont be a quick flip or $500, maybe he finds a sucker to shell out 3-400 bucks but id doubt that. I have sold many Jazz Specials and power special and the most I ever got was $600 and that was a white one everyone wants.
You never know. It's on my reverb watch list. He might get it.
The body isn't actually walnut wood, right?

Well, I'm bummed. Bought a GK MB212-II combo from a GC in NY, had it come in today, and it's an MB210-II, and it's not in the best condition (listed as "Good Condition", but I'd rate it "Fair"). Partially my fault for not calling in and getting pics, but still, the amp is clearly labeled, yet they listed it wrong. Unless I can get a hefty refund, this is going back, and put in the "Don't buy" thread.
I hope he likes sitting on it for awhile because I have 20 instruments on reverb they dont exactly fly off the shelf unless you want to take a bath on it.
No those bodies are basswood, there pretty soft woods so realistically not have the thick paint on it these came with is a major downside as the paint protected the soft wood from dinging. The wood is also really bland looking for a trans finish.
There's a GB Shuttlemax listed that is clearly a Shuttle.
