I was not aware of this model.
Looks like a Thumb with a hint of Dolphin.
I personally think it's bad structural design to hollow out a battery box right beneath the bridge though.
True. It totally destroys the possibility of string-thru. However, the bridge they used has 4 perimeter mount screws, not under the strings like a standard bridge.
In my opinion, it was not designed well, but it sounds incredible.
And for those with an adventurous spirit, it’s a blank canvas...

Don't use or like string through.
I just think you're asking for trouble, both sonically and structurally,
by hollowing out a big mass from the body right below the bridge.

This is perhaps the best playing, best sounding Affinity Jazz V I have ever played. It’s a 2016 model, practically brand new (hence the high price). The neck and fretwork are beautiful.

...and the first one I have ever personally seen in Sunburst...

Sadowsky Jazz bass alert... I don't know about the price, seems fair, but this is a great looking Sadowsky:

I would call Sadowsky first (if they were open I'd actually call them now), it just says Sadowsky on it with someone writing with marker on the back the NAMM stuff. I Googled and couldn't find anything that made me think there were 9 more of these out there. Might be MIJ, heck knowing GC might be a fake entirely. Never buy a high end bass from GC without a serial that checks out with the maker, GC is horrible at spotting fakes.

It's real. No idea about the NAMM stuff, but the bass is a genuine Sadowsky.
