I blame GC's own site for that!

I've been looking for some very specific things like... an EB3 and look what comes up:

They don't know what items they actually have! This isn't at just one store either!!! Notice that those are FOUR different stores!

I've noticed this trend has gotten worse as time goes on. It seems, much like my in-store visits to GC, that their employees just don't know about instruments anymore. They just hire warm bodies to fill the floor and hope that the customer knows what they want. Sigh

I've been looking for some very specific things like... an EB3 and look what comes up:

COuple years back I couldn't spit without hitting an Epi EB0 for $100 or less or an EB3 for about $180 on GC or Craigslist and now they're all gone.

It's killing me.

Here is a really good deal for someone...An MTD Kingston ZX5 with case for $900 in "great condition". These are really good basses with USA Bartolini pickups and preamp. Even if the case is a cheap generic case, the bass alone at this price is a good deal.

For any that are not familiar with these basses, they sound totally different from the regular MTD Kingston Z basses.

Here is one you don't see often...MPG (Matt Pucinella Guitars) Level 4 Jazz style. MPG's always have quality hardware and pickups, so at $899 this is a pretty good price:

Have to add that the two Level 5's I have are among the easiest playing basses I have ever played! Super workmanship and attention to detail.

Oh! I've owned a SR885 since 1992 and it still plays excellent. $150 sounds like a great price.

the blurry picture is a different bass. it might be an SR885 but it's blue...ish...
