Yeah I bought the item online not over the phone. They never emailed me that it was cancled, i had to log into my GC account to find out. I have been ordering online because once when I saw a fender 50s P bass for $350 I jumped on it and called them, they guy kept saying he couldnt get my card to read and gave up. Then I got 4 charges on my card, $1400. I then had to go through a hassle with my bank and I never got the bass.

I had this happen a few years ago when trying to buy a Bongo. IIRC, the bass was like $800, so he eventually told me my card was maxed out, which I knew was wrong. Turns out he had run the card 3 times, therefore maxing it out. It took some time, and was a hassle, but I eventually straightened it out, and got the bass.
I've had them run a card 2-5 times, always annoying, not as bad as the time they charged me $10,000 for shipping on my card though...

Head's up! There is a super rare US Peavey Grind (that's not a typo, they made a few in the US before moving production overseas) at the Holland, OH store. If it were a 5, it'd be mine already.

They guy at the store said it looked and played great... So hopefully no real material reason. We shall see! The guy also said that price reduction hadn't been made "in store" yet and the bass had the higher price on it. I thought that was a little strange.
Talked to them again about the bass and kinda have an idea about the reduced price. No original case and it does not have the original pickup...
