That Pedulla looks to have been altered some. Pedulla only uses Bart pickups, so having EMG's is a giveaway. Also, as far as I know, the Raptor model has come with a single soapbar or two J's, but never a soapbar and a J.

On the other hand, the route looks clean from what is visible in the photo and Raptor's usually play great. Four string Raptors usually go from $750 to $1100, so this couple be a great buy for someone who either likes EMG's or has some Barts laying around, and is looking for a killer player.

It's a bolt-on, so while it's a pretty good deal, not as good as if it were a neck-thru.

That Cirrus has such a bad reverse bow in the neck that the D and G strings bottom out. It's been returned once already (not by me - I have not seen the bass). The guys in that store are very up front about it and think it can be fixed with a truss rod adjustment but reverse bows scare me.

What gets me is, if they think all it would take is a little tweak, why in the blue **** don't they tweak it?

Back in the day, years ago, when I was young and foolish and thought GC employees could help me with even the simplest of tasks, I remember asking an employee to take the plate off a bass to check the pot codes so I could date it...his response....they had no screwdriver.
