Yeah, I just had a look at that as well. I scaled out the photo with a regular Jazz and it is indeed a 30" shortscale.

There is an Ibanez Mikro shortscale in Orlando, in a somewhat rare maple neck with matching black body and headstock. $104.99

The much maligned Fender Squire Series, great price on a rare model.
Most people say it's MIM Fender Body lower quality electronics but I'm not 100% what the truth is, maybe do some quick research before buying.

I read on tdpri an explanation by keith brawley the fender vp at the time who said it is the fender mim body and neck, but the hardware and pickups, etc. are cheaper than the normal mim. He said something about "there's no free lunch".

So would it make sense to throw a emg gzr pickup in it for 100.00 and upgrade the bridge/tuners if needed? I'm wondering about that right at this moment when you can get nicer mim precisions for 350 or so (even thought they still might need new pickups).

Not a great price and not a terrible price, but it's pretty and it's an endangered species. Though based on the way the strings look at the tuning pegs, I suspect a guitar player owned it so who knows what kind of shape it's in.

I own an Olympic white one, pickups were trash (so i upgraded to a bill Lawrence p-46) but the neck/body are superb

How do you like the bill lawrences? They would be on my list also. I've heard good things about the gzrs, and I like that they come with all the stuff (solderless too), but I don't want to sound like I play for sabbath either, so maybe the bl's would be better. That's good to know about the bass. I probably should have grabbed it last night when I first saw it, and it was cheaper.
