the 360 version is supposed to kick ass. your gonna be able to download songs onto the game, gotta buy em of couse. but i think that's a cool idea cause once you play the same songs enough the game starts to lose its edge. i gotta buy a 360, am i the only one without an x box?

I just got it for christmas, its awsome! but why is there no bassist carrer mode? i am upset, and is it just me or is john the fisherman easier to play on a real bass(and sing at same time) then on expert mode

i just got it about a day ago, I started playing and drinking on the first song. At 4 in the morning I was wasted onstage playing Freebird just ROCKING it out! Man that is an amazing game.

So I just started to be able to 5 star pretty much anything on normal mode, then I went to Hard... haven't finished a song on it yet; looked at Expert and lasted about 15 seconds. They can get pretty demanding! I love it.

Its definitely one the most fun games I've ever played, ever.

Dude, you gotta be a video game savant or have NO social life to ace any songs on expert mode!

When we go to my friend's house to play, my brother tag-teams on all the guitar songs, and I do all the bass songs. We're now in competition to see who can pimp out their guitar controller to more extreme levels. My friend's made his guitar wireless, and my brother's got the Zakk Wylde skin and we're gonna add the small buttons up the fretboard for meedly-ing.

THE DETHKLOK SONG IS BAD AS HELL.

Sounds cool, those mods sound like fun. Two things?


1) upper fretboard meedly-ing? - i get the idea, but this isn't built into the game is it? like would you be building the same buttons into it?

2) THERES A DETHKLOK SONG!?!

I am proud to say I have just beaten GHII on expert the other day, and I only failed on 4 songs. Overall Hangar 18 gave me the roughest time just because it was so bloody easy up until the later solos.

One of the bonus songs on the game is "Thunderhorse" by Dethlok and it is pretty amazing.

Also to Bryan: They already sell wireless controllers, and a third party company sells controllers with the higher buttons that actually perform no function other than looking cool. You and your buddies should try to think of some new mods.

I am proud to say I have just beaten GHII on expert the other day, and I only failed on 4 songs.

Congrats, Sonic_Death! I think I finished the expert difficulty within a few days of owning it. Of course, for some reason I have always been really good at rhythm games like Parappa Tha Rappa, Frequency, Amplitude, etc. I was able to make it through every song but Freebird on the first try. It's pretty frustrating to fail that song at like 85% over and over.

So far, I have 5-starred all but about 8 songs on Expert, 5-starred all songs on Hard (100% on a couple), 100% all but a couple on Medium, and 100% all on Easy. I know I probably sound like an obsessed loser with no life, but oh well.

You all should check out score hero or the forums at the Invalid Link Removed and see some of the stats these people have! I mean, 626,286 points on Freebird is completely ridiculous (that guy finished it with 100% accuracy as well).

I played this game with my bro on Christmas.

I didn't want to like it, but it was a lot of fun.

I think I'll stick to Madden 2007 though.
