I don't own a gun, but my Dad has over 20 rifles. Reloading ammunition and customizing his weapons has been his hobby since he retired. He literally has 2 large safes full of weapons ranging from .22 to 45-7 (don't know how it's written out).

If there is ever a zombie invasion, i'm basically set ;)

I give you the pros and cons of the two you're trying to decide between..... The .40 will drop someone, the .380 might. I wouldn't carry a .380 unless there just wasn't any other choice....

Hah! A .380 would probably drop 80% of the population. But I guess incase you come across a big guy it's better to be safe than sorry.

The pics are a little bit old. Different scopes and different rings, but the beauty is still there. :)

I have several, this is the one I like to show off the most. :ninja:

Highly misinformed post. But, considering you don't own a gun, I'm not surprised.

Of course, if you're willing to bet your life on 'probably', be my guest.

Hiya,

Ah yes, caliber insecurity and the resulting caliber wars. I have to admit I was a victim of it in the past. This is why I have single shot pistols chambered in 7BR, 7mm-08, 308 Win and 35 Rem.

Wanna talk recoil? Try a light barrel Remington XP-100 in 35 Rem, 308Win or even 7BR, they will wake you up.

Very nice! My first rifle was a Savage .22lr; I need to get to the range!

They can't be beaten for the money and even then; you better bring a very nice rifle and be a very good shot to beat me out at the range. Half MOA @ 50 yards isn't anything for this rifle.

Now if I can get used to this trigger since I've done some work on it. It's down to around 10oz. :bassist:

I'm in, and I'll bring along my:

M1A Super Match
H&R .22 target rifle
S&W stainless snubby .38 Special
6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser
SMLE (Short Magazine Lee Enfield)
Winchester Model 70 varmint rifle, .243

I carry a little Rugar LCP 380 in my front pocket at gigs. I'm partially disabled, so it makes walking to my car a little more secure.
At home I have a Mossberg 12 gage, a Walther PPS(small enough to carry) and a Beretta PX4 by my bed.

I want to keep my basses safe.
