Hello,

Do you know if Mister Guy Pratt the session still got his EMG fit in his vintage Jazz Bass ?
Where can we listen him playing with this bass ?
Do you know record he makes with this bass ?
I'm very curious to listen this combination.

Thanks

Really? I thought Betsy was the one David gilmour gave him. The Pink one i believe it belonged to John entwistle, i read it somewere.

So, i believe he is playing Betsy on this clip:

Yep. Don't know where he got it, but that's it. He is really underrated. Good thing he works with David Gilmour and probably gets paid well enough not to care ;) I heard Gilmour pays pretty darn well.

Hello

It seems that a lot of studio session men like Guy Pratt play vintage JazzBass with Emg :

Alex Al, Victor Bailey and Richard Bona

The Jazz Bass with EMG was very great for studio work..

Thanks

betsy and it's EMG pickups are on Maddona's 'Like a Prayer' and Michael Jackson's 'Earth Song', both of which are played through a Boss OC-2.

It sounds like it's on some of the tracks from Bryan Ferry's Bete Noir album (possibly Mamouna as well), and is probably also on Pink Floyd's Division Bell.

If you can handle it, it'll likely be on Jimmy Nail's stuff, in particular 'Ain't no Doubt'.
