Hartke vs Eden !!!???

Eden Nemesis. It's just a better product.

As for why there are so many posts comparing other brands with Eden's these days, I suppose it could be when you repeatedly hear positive comments about something (whether it's bathroom tissue, anti-perspirant or, yes, even bass amps), there's a natural tendency to see if you can get a comparable or better product for less. Also, Eden reportedly puts a LOT of R&D into their products. I suspect other companies do, as well, but it seems Eden tends to be more of a leader than follower. I suspect if a product can be found to compare with Eden, some will think it's worth further investigation.

Are you kidding me?!? Comparing Eden to Hartke is like comparing BMW to Hundai. I haven't played any of the combos listed but I think you'll find that those Hartkes, especially the 10" kickback will struggle with your average volume drummer. If money is no object go with the N12s. No contest.

DUDES! Bro, Did not ask which was better Eden or Hartke? He asked to compare specific products. I replied that the Kickback 12 is a far superior amp w/o additional cabinet for giggin with any kind of drummer against the Nemesis 2 X 8 (Eden's low end line). I also said I could not comment on the Nemesis 1 X 12 as i have not played it. I am MORE then willing to stand by that sentiment. For the Record I am currently playing thru an Eden WT550 and owned the first generation (14 years ago) WT300. If money was not an issue I would recommend w/o hesitation the Eden CX 110 Combo which is a great combo.

sorry guys, I didn't mean to cause such a fuss, my apologies. Maybe my post was a bit harsh but the Title does say "Hartke vs Eden." ?

Yes, the silver series is not the nemesis but I'd still take it over the kickbacks. Out of those four, if I had to choose, with $$$ not being an issue, I'd get the N12s. ...just my opinion (again, I have NOT played any of the combos listed so YMMV, FWIW, and all that)

All of you thanks alot !!!!!!!!

After reading the replies i'm verry interrested in the two Edens: Eden Nemesis N28s and the Eden Nemesis N12s.
What would be the big differences ???

I'm open for your thoughts but i think i will have to try them.

Greetings from holland !!!

The drummer in a former band owned a Nemesis N28, which I used for rehearsals. It's a nice sounding practice amp, but it isn't capable of normal gig volume without farting out.

I would greatly appreciate any opinion "2020 Hartke VS Eden" debate.

I was pretty much dead set on HD75 but noticed that thomann has the TN2251 at more or less same price range. The thing is there doesn't seem to be any reviews and/or videos on TN2251, on paper it seems like a very convincing package(especially considering the price is almost double locally), but I'm really fond of graphic EQ of Hartke HD75. In fact my "dream" setup would be Hartke HA3500 paired with Hydrive HD112. Here's the dilemma, that setup costs more than twice as TN2251 but the difference in power is(theoretically) negligible 225 watts VS 240 watts.

Both have fairly flexible EQ, with main difference being the type, Hartke gives you more bands to boost or cut(7 sliders and 3 knobs) specifically 15 db for Knobs and 12 db for Slider(bringing it pretty close to Hartke HA3500), while Eden has two semi-parametric mids, one 30-300 Hz and another 200-2000 Hz as well as Bass and Treble(frequencies not specified in manual).

Hartke HD75
50 Hz(K), 63 Hz(S), 125 Hz(S), 250 Hz(S), 500 Hz(S), 700Hz(K), 1.25 KHz(S), 2.5 KHz(S), 5 KHz(S), 10 KHz(K)

I know that it would make more sense to compare TN2251 to HD150. Both have XLR and are more close together in terms of wattage but it weighs 57.8 lb(26.22 kg) compared to 37.2 lbs(16.87 kg) and if it utilises the driver from Hydrive HD115 that means it's frequency range is 45-17000 Hz(considering that E string is 41 Hz it just seems weird to me).

On the subject of frequency range, HD75 should be 35-17000 Hz if it uses the driver from Hydrive HD112. As indicated by Edens EQ their driver should, theoretically, have somewhat similar range.
It seems like 12 inch drivers are actually more capable of low frequency reproduction albeit not as loud as 15 inch ones.

Another hurdle is a complete absence of HD75 in music stores in my region, interestingly the twice as expensive TN2251 is available. So even if I go with my bass and try it out I would have nothing to compare it to.

It the end if you had to make a leap of faith and choose one for practice and portability, which one would it be?
