Website says they start at 7,000 sterling. Not 14,000. Case is another 1,000. More than Alembic, but not that much.

I've got to say, some of this casting is just overboard. For example, why is the nut cast in place to fit the nut groove? Any nut groove should be straight, square, and level, so that a custom-fit cast nut is not necessary to get a good fit.

I do like the tuner knob design, though.

I don't necessarily disagree with this, but I can find many examples of basses that don't have the support of someone of the level of bass admiration that you describe that were able to take off big time (as far as high-dollar boutique basses go).

Nice work!

I've always been a big fan of the Sabine STL-12 and have several of them but this one you guys made goes one further, putting the display in the perfect location.

You should market them as an aftermarket item!

Just read your excellent review again. Usually don't even pay attention to the name of who writes a review in a magazine, although I would if someone here wrote one because I never assume the magazine writer is going to be anyone I know of.

So what do you think of the general gist of the comments here; do you think you'd ever actually attempt to aquire one?
