So the answer is no, measured frequency response charts are not publicly available?

Check the forum...there are very good reasons...yet some very good graphs...most companies are far from honest with their results, and very few bass players could really understand the graphs anyway...

I'm able to view the forum through the link without logging on. But the forum seems to lack a search function, and there are no sub-categories, so if you want to find a chart you'd have to manually wade through all the posts there until you come across one.

There are also 10,000 posts of folks trying to bash products they've never tried, brother! If you honestly want to know more, there are awesome people on the forum who will be thrilled to talk to you and share what they know

There are like 10000 posts going on about how great these things are, no one is willing to step up with actual data?

There is a ton more info on that forum. Just join to read it. There are like 20,000 posts about how great Ampeg/GK/Mesa gear is too, and you wont find the type of info you are looking for posted anywhere associated with the manufactures. Sorry I'm not going to cross post a DIY'ers results, but you can go read them yourself.

I was just looking for some hard data.

For some reason this community does not want that stuff floating around the net. Just like Ampeg/GK/Mesa I suppose.

Thanks anyway.

Not the case at all. The fEARful community just expects you to come over, introduce yourself, and be more than a screen name. No lurkers, non posters, trolls, or people looking to take things out of context. The first step in education is being willing to go and participate, be that opening a book or joining a forum.
