Sorry David, as much as I absolutely agree with you, your choice of wording is poor.
I'm picking up a "Your opinion doesn't matter because you don't have as much experience as I do" vibe from this post.

Lately I use the neck pickup soloed a lot. But I had to see how much wire I could fit on the bridge pickup since I like to wind them hotter.Damn Jazz covers are so cramped. Now I can work backwards.
Man, I feel like I've been on a roller coaster. Glad I started this thread. Quite entertaining, though it didn't come together as I thought it would.
Sorry, but Delly demonstrated that he has little knowledge of the pickup industry. That was my point. He said all the pickup makers I listed are mass produced. That steamed me up.

Edit:
I was referring to your response to Big Dad, not Delly.
Oh yeah, Big Dad, not Delly. They became a blur.
OK the thing was a nicely pointed out all the pickups hand made in the US, and then he just said everything I listed was mass produced. I felt that was dismissive, or he was just a block head.
But I wasn't being rude. If I called him a name, that would have been rude. I just let him know he does not know of what he speaks. Thats being direct, not rude.
its best when some one is wrong that thy Humble them self and apologize
So if not being mass produced and made in the US is important, you have a lot to choose from, such as myself, Bill Lawrence, Lollar, Fralin, Bartolini, Nordstand, etc.
The thing is, every pickup you mentioned are mass produced.
OK, but he was wrong. Tell it to him.

He said:
So either he doesn't know, and therefore shouldn't be commenting, or he's trying to pick a fight.
So I informed him of his error. And I was nice enough to not correct his grammar.![]()
