Has anyone tried SX basses

Why do you guys always jump on new members of this forum and reprimand them for not using the half-assed search engine. I mean seriously go to the search engine and type in sx and see what happens!

Nothing will happen because you need 3 characters to do a search.

Exactly. One would think that someone that's been here that long would've come across at least *one* SX thread, if not 9,001 SX threads.

You don't even need to use the search....At any given time there's usually two or three SX threads on the first page alone.

All you need to do is scroll down.

You buys have to remember, even if he joined in 2008, he only has 22 posts. Maybe he gets on TB once a month, and when he is on he only looks at a select few threads. Not everyone is lucky enough to be on TB as much as some of us, including myself.

Kurt- If you're listening, you seriously need to talk to the management here about your own sponsored forum!

I've rocked several Essex/SX basses in the past. You seriously will not find a better bass at this price point and will have to go up a few Benjamins to find a better bass period.

Um, shouldn't Kurt be reading along and not listening? Guitarists might listen to an internet message board, but most folks read the messages....

But then I agree with you, I'd love to see an SX sponsored forum on TB! But who would moderate such a place?

Oh, by the way. Has anyone here ever played a Fender... I think they call the particular model a 'Precision' something or other?

Oh... and another thing... the search function may not work with less than 3 characters but you can bypass that by searching on 'SX*'... the * is a wildcard character and basically represents any possible character including a space. Alternatively you can type in 'SX ' (there's a space after the SX, that works too).
