I was tempted to call my jazz bass Jenny, but I couldn't be bothered. Now its called the jazz. Simple, but I dont sound like a perv if I say "I'm gonna go give Jenny a spank on stage tonight" or "I was playing with Jenny and I broke her G-string"

That funny because my mim jazz is named jenny. I named here this because my friends bird was named jenny and when he talk 2 her he said "Jenny why you so skinny"said. So the first time i played her i noticed how thin or "skinny" the neck was, so i saied to her Jenny why u so skinny and it stuck.

The upright at my school i call big betty for no reason what so ever.And i never named my first bass, a broken squier p-bass that my uncle lent me.

Molly - Ibanez SR400 (first bass, named after first girlfriend who I was with at the time) - still have her
Beth - Ibanez SR645 (named after this hot chick I was really good friends with)
Louise - Ibanez AW100 Acoustic Guitar (named after girlfriend at the time) - still have her
Ernie - Stingray (couldn't think of a better name, found this on the headstock LOL)

Currently, the P isn't named. It's had too many owners before me, none of which named her, so I'm not going to start the trend.
