What is it?
I wonder where you got that idea! Finally figured out to use a clip on tuner.View attachment 4544034
Never saw this for just made sense to put it there. Worked great though for at home practice
I've found my people.
I'm finding it increasingly harder to go back to headstocks, especially standing up. After upgrading to multiscale as well, I don't know if I can ever look at classic basses the same again.
I'd really love to try one of the Kiesel multiscale headless models, but at the moment my Ibanez provides me with everything I need.

Amen brother. I only have 1 bass with a headstock remaining and it would be gone if it weren’t a perfectly balanced 7#. Even still I am tempted as it doesn’t get played.
Your Ibanez 1505 will give you a better modern metal tone and have a slightly beefier B string, with the ability to go up to .165 in string diameter. The Kiesel will be easier to play and feel more refined overall. They beg to be played. The fan of the Kiesel is slightly less drastic and therefore easier to play across the whole instrument, meaning upper fret chording requires less gymnastics.
Playing your Kiesel will make you want to sell your Ibanez. Playing your Ibanez will make you want to upgrade the pickups in the Kiesel. The Kiesel pickups aren’t bad at all but the Nordstrand big splits pack a serious sonic punch that really leaves an impression. If you were happy with the BH2 Barts you will be overjoyed with the Kiesel pickups, but they are no Nordstrands.
I sold my Ibanez 1505 and I regret it a bit. I am trying but not really bonding with the short scale version. Thank goodness for my Kiesels!
TL-DR: Headstocks suck.
Remember that crazy headless I posted a couple of weeks ago? Found a video of it in action...
