Eh, was kinda disappointed after looking at photos.
It's... kinda cool. I think Steinberger nailed it for the most part with the original by literally cutting way the excess to reduce it to its minimalist size...
Plus, the Steinie design is much more efficient for the stank swamp boogie because ...
... they pick up less kelp when paddling.
(Yes, I am drinking. )
Is it me you're looking for?
No seriously, that is a beaut!
And it’s got Aguilars!
Is that a rarity in this thread? All my basses going forward will have them (and Aggy pre) until further notice.
As far as I’ve seen in this thread, yes.
Nathan east 4 string Headless or a riedition of bodied Steinberger are my favourites...i hope they come disposable soon
Hey all! I've decided that I have too many guitars. They're taking over my living space lol so, here are a couple headless up for sale/trade...
For Sale/Trade - 2 Headless Basses - Hondo & Quest
To those with Kiesel headless basses (Vader, Osiris, Zeus): would you buy another? I need to snag a "rescue" fiver...something under 8 lbs...for when my back flares-up and I'd like to keep the price tag below $1500. Don't need anything fancy-schmancy and I can add an onboard pre down the pike if necessary. Any assistance is appreciated!
Who made that one?
I did; see the link in my sig.
My new headless. The Strandberg Boden Prog 5.
Sent you a pm.
DAMN! That’s beautiful!
The more I’m seeing of this bass, the more I’m really digging it, which is weird because I don’t like the shape. Enjoy it, it’s a beauty.
The body is not weird at all when you play it. In fact, it feels like a better Steinberger/NS Design despite the technical flaws Strandbergs are having with these models
whoa whoa whoa, what flaws?
