Beautiful bass!
I've always been drawn to the Status Streamline, so naturally this beauty really caught my eye while searching for info about graphite basses etc online. So much nicer with a few curves thrown in than a Steinberger (which I also like). Your bass is really captivating.
If ever I can afford one, I'll get a Streamline, as I see this won't be put into production, though I'd buy it were it to come up for sale when I had money – which begs the question: Did you sell the bass?
I have a background in glass fiber boat building so that would be a good start for plug/mold making. Other that that it's just trial and error for laminate thicknesses if you like me have no skills to calculate the forces vs carbon fiber laminate strength.awesome , where can I find more information on building basses like that ? where get materials? I have a vacuum pump and an electroforming set up that might be cool with this. electroforming instead of wiring maybe?
There is a small cavity in the top corner of the foam. I filled the cavity with thickened epoxy putty, brushed a quite thick layer of thickened epoxy on the foam and laid the top over the bottom part. The cavity formed a kind of an epoxy fillet inside the bass. Then I taped the top to the back ( sort of clamping) and wiped away the epoxy that was coming out of the seam.This is awesome. I have dreamed of doing something like this but don't really have the knowledge. I'm still fuzzy on how you joined top to bottom. What did the final product weigh?

I did not weight the bass but it was very light.
After reading this ten times and not getting it, I went and watched twenty or so youtube vids on how to make molded composites. Then I read it again and finally just got it. That's a really elegant solution, lol! I love it. Now I really think this might be something I could try to do.
