It's tragic that he died so young.
At least he lived a good life and did a lot of things that will be remembered.
It sux that he died naked facedown on his bed and now everyone knows that. That's not very dignified. I'm worried that I'll die in some weird way, like on the toilet. Then I'll be known as the girl who died while taking a ****.

Is that really so weird? IIRC, there was a thread which indicated a lot of TBers sleep au naturale (including you, perhaps?) If that's how you roll, odds are pretty reasonable that that's how you'll roll out.
If he took his own life, shame on him for leaving his 2 year old daughter. If it was an accident, I still feel more sorry for her than him or his fans. These people have more resources at their disposal that any of us ever will. Suck it up and get yourself together and get through the tough times in life like the rest of us have to.
there was a documentary about fred phelps on cable. seeing that man preach is scary - he really does seem possessed. or really closeted.
either way, kudos to heath ledger for being a true ACTOR and rocking the 'brokeback', barfing children or not.
According to the press, the guy had been getting no sleep, was ill, and was on sleep medication to alleviate his symptoms. The life of a successful actor (from what one can imagine) is remarkably strenuous. Resources or not, I highly doubt its as simple as to "suck it up and get yourself together." He was human too and unless autopsy reports support the claim that it was intentional, it is in poor taste to talk bad about the guy. That said, I agree with you about feeling bad for his child. No reason to say that you feel more sympathy for one over the other.
For those trash-talking over the Ang Lee movie... jeez, the guy is dead. Show some respect.
Who would they get to play the joker in the third batman? When I heard that this one was having the joker in it I thought of heath right away as the ONLY person that could pull it off. Johnny Depp maybe.

RIP again Heath. He was a good actor, I even enjoy 10 Things I Hate About You (I've seen it way too many times) and he consistently convinces me of his character. Going from that to what I've seen of him as The Joker (Which he handled amazingly) is great. Good actor. Sad end. Wish his family and daughter the best.
I have said it before and I will say it again, 10 things I hate about you is a fantastic movie. Best modern adaptation of the taming of the shrew that I have ever seen. Heck, best modern adaptation of any Shakespeare play that I have ever seen.
