I had an Alembic Mark King for ONE day. It was also 14 lbs and there was NO way I could ever play it live, so I sold it the day after I bought it. It was GORGEOUS and nailed the Jimmy Johnson Series II tone, but just too heavy.1976 Ibanez Black Eagle I bought new in 1976. Just shy of 14 lbs. Mahogany. I had one of the reissues a few years back. Pretty much the same.

Hah! I had a mahogany L2000 that was quite a chunk all right - must have been 12 lbs or so. But oh man, what a voice. One of the fattest ever!G&L American L2000. Friggen heavy swamp ash body.
