Heaviest Bass You've Ever Owned?

My 6 string is right around 10 pounds and my fretless 5 (sorry, no pics) with chambered body is between 6 and 7 pounds.

My first "nice" bass was a Lakland Skyline 44-64 Custom PJ. Played beautifully but it weighed in at 12.3 pounds. That and I didn't care for the neck profile (a very skinny J) so sold it and got a Reverend Triad, an equally wonderful (though very different) bass at only 7.9 pounds. Much better.

I don't think I'll ever own a bass heavier than 8 pounds again.

1976 Ibanez Black Eagle I bought new in 1976. Just shy of 14 lbs. Mahogany. I had one of the reissues a few years back. Pretty much the same.

Right now it's my 81 P at 10.2 with the Jazz neck that's on it now. And a bit more with the original.
I had an Alembic Mark King for ONE day. It was also 14 lbs and there was NO way I could ever play it live, so I sold it the day after I bought it. It was GORGEOUS and nailed the Jimmy Johnson Series II tone, but just too heavy. :(

My first bass was a '99-ish MIM Jazz Deluxe. It was a great value bass, with the same Suhr made pickups and preamp from the American Jazz Deluxe. Sounded fantastic but I always thought it was kind of heavy. Never weighed until I was in a local music store demoing basses and thought that they were all unbelievably light. So I weighed the Jazz after I got back home - 13.5 pounds. Didn't take much Googling to find out that that was just ridiculous.

Loved the way it sounded, but I eventually sold it (yes, I made it clear up front what the weight was). Since that one, my heaviest bass has been my current L-2500, which is a little over 10 pounds. Love that bass, but I'll never go heavier than that at this point.

An 82 ash body Precision that started life as a Squier...had J-P-J pickups, Schaller tuners and bridge. I never weighed it but must have been 12+ pounds. Too heavy to keep for more than 15 years, shoulder protested.
