Help me name my bass!!!

I agree with such things only being named if it comes about on its own and there's some back story to it. I mean, what's your TV named? Your oven? Lol...

I agree. Naming a bass right out of the box is forced. Let it get some play time and a history. Something will come up down the road that's fitting and meaningful.

I’m fond enough of my basses but only one has a name - “The Monkey Bass”.....

If is a boy, Junior. If is a girl... Junior.

Arnold joke aside, I agree with those who say just give it time and let the name come naturally. This way, if it ever comes up in conversation, you'll have a story to go with the name. "Some random person on an Internet forum named my bass" is not a cool story, bro.

I named all of mine the same... I call each one "My Bass"...

I've never been into naming my instruments, but many do. It seems like it wold be a very personal thing, like naming your child, which I would never ask anyone else to do.

Spend some time just looking at your bass, the right name will come to you.

Do you remember the first song you played on it? Pick something from that song title.
