Help with new rig!!

i'm after accomplishing this type of sound


i already checked John Davis' rig, but my question is:
If you only had around 1k USD for amp and effects, what would you get?

I'm specially after the sub sound with filtering coming in second.

Again, i want this to be my starting point... and i already have a Fender MM jazz bass.
