Oh, its great. but, Its apparently not poly. So, it sucked. I ended up just whipping out the sander

Took about an hour. Im gonna knock the sides back down though, and black it out to a red burst. Just, tired. Tgis time change sucks. I keep waking up at normal time. An hour before my alarm goes off. Haha. (Sigh) tomorrow.

Those couple light spots are where there's still a little clear left on it. Not bad for a quickie though.

You know, scratch a burst. Im just gonna black out the back and sides. Black the sides to match the binding on the neck, and call it good. Should be dope. Black back, black edges, carnage red top. Got a black pearl pickguard coming for it too. And, I'm thinking straight gloss poly on this one. But, that might change after the first coat.

You know, I'm still on the fence about matching them. But, I'm gonna finish with this idea first. If I'm not satisfied (which apparently I'm never satisfied hahaha) ill make a matching set. What really led me not to, is that I only have enough purple left for one more body, and I'd really like a better choice of wood like my P. Killer grain. Know what I mean? Can't make twins out of a fugly step child.

But yeah, first thought was, matching set. P and J.

But you know, here's the real difference between these two. Purps cost me $837. This Jazz (at the end of it all) will cost me about 250. And it sounds great.

Yeah dude. I gave up. Hahaha. On the sides at least. Its still cool. At least I've got good dye to where it still looks stained. Eventually, I'll get around to finishing it. I always do. I'll clear it up tomorrow. Then another coat or two, and back together.

Well, I don't know guys. I think I might just take back down and go purple instead. Oh well, it'll done by the weekend.

It came out kinda weird. I mean, it's allright. But, I should've just left it all red yesterday. It was much better. But, I'm out of red, so...oh well. Purple it is.

I can't believe I couldn't eat through that dang clear on the sides. Man, that stuff is tough. Whatever it is.

Oh, and don't ever try to use "Rit Dye" that stuff is junk. Their black comes out brown, and I used half of that huge bottle. Trash.

It sucks too, cause the top does actually look pretty cool. Rustic red. But its the sides I can't get over. (Sigh) here comes the re strip

Well guys, she's purple. Pretty basic,, but oh well. I couldn't touch up the red, cause I didn't have any. So, this'll have to do. Whatever. Itll still look dope.
