Hey, look at that! I'm a spoiled brat!

I turned 18 not too long ago. I haven't had a job for a while, but I've been looking for the last three months. It's especially hard to find a job here, because most of the economy is fueled by a fort that provides about 90% of the town's population.

I still live with my mom, and lately she decided that I'm just not trying to find a job. So what does she do? She stopped having food in the house, and only gives me food once a day. I have no option but to accept this, because I have no money at all.

So, two days ago I ate at about 7 o'clock. Yesterday, my mom got off of work at 7:30. Eating only one meal a day means I'm used to it, but by nine I couldn't stand not having eaten for over 26 hours. I called her, and asked her when she would be home. Her reply? "You need to stop bothering me, this is my time." I asked again if she knew when she'd be home, and she hung up. When she got home she told me I need to stop acting like a spoiled brat.

I always thought spoiled kids had everything they needed and wouldn't accept not having things that they wanted and didn't need. I'm pretty sure I need food, but am I wrong about this? How long should I wait for food because I'm apparently not trying to find a job?

Sell your basses, buy a plane ticket to a place where you can find a job, and give the rest of the money to your mom. Then go support your own ass. You might have to sleep in the park for a couple nights, but that's the price you have to pay for being a lazy ass for two years.
