I couldn't agree more! PPK looks like he's going to have a long and happy career in making instruments like this...or at the very least I hope so!
This guy has great possibilities ahead of him.
SHOW THE FRONT MAN!!!!!!
Dang that thing looks awesome!
Nice! Nice woods and nice design. It looks very organic, like it grew that way. I love instruments like that.
well the padouk was reaaaaaalllly old i actually thought it was black walnut when the guy i buy from handed it to me it was very oxidised. but when i cut it up it was very blood red the padouk fretboard binding is cut from the same peice that the stripes in the body are from. but i dont know if i will be using padouk again on my next build cause its soo oily and bleeds colors it was not accepting the tung oil very well at all.
Jordan, very sweet bass, man! Excellent work!!!

I am hoping mine comes out half as good as this. Can't wait to see the bridge and some sound samples!Yes, my mistake. Apologies to both and congratulations to PaulJordan? I think you landed in the wrong thread.. this bass is built by Paul..
try bloodwood. its my favorite so far. very awesome smelling when sawn or sanded. Like Chocolate, or cinimmon. plus when it is finally sanded to a high grit, it is smooth as glass, and its color intensifies. I love it.
