Back in the 70s, I used to dress up as Mr Gumby from Monty Python. I wore a white sock with a black shoe and a black sock with a white shoe with my pant legs rolled up. Then came the handkerchief worn on the head with fake wire rim glasses. It always brought the house down. Got a lot of laughs with it. It's Halloween, have fun, be silly and if constipated tightasses don't approve, then tell them to go pound sand. I always had fun on Halloween. Go for it and have fun.

I was going to dress up as Jonah Hill in super bad this year. Unfortunately the shirts online run 3-4 sizes too small and I’m a 2xlt. Had everything all set including J-Fro wig

One of my bands has a Halloween gig and we all agreed to dress up. The keyboard player is dressing like Elton John, guitarist like Slash...the drummer hasn't decided yet. Any ideas for me? I originally thought about Gene Simmons but it's too involved, especially with the makeup.

One idea is a Sgt Pepper outfit but if anyone has some other suggestions I'd love to hear them:

Played a lot of Halloween shows over the years. Ironically the costumes that were the biggest hit was a deathcore band dressed in carebear outfits lol

If only other bassist get it, it's not much of a costume.

Best thing I ever did was the Dominos pizza noid. I got a red jumpsuit, made a mask, and got a clean pizza box from Dominos - I cut it so I could fit the body of my bass in, and played the gig like that.

This was me last Halloween. I did the entire show with the helmet on and I think I was about 10 lbs lighter by the time the gig ended. I have since left that group but that was a fun night.
