Honest Feedback On My Tone Needed! MM Sterling

Thanks. I used the STM-900 thru the Epi 15 and Avatar 210 on top. Oh how did you know it wasn't my Squier?

While it might be a tad loud, the tone is solid and very fitting for the song and the type of music. Great playing, btw!
I think on the first clip it sounds good. The band sounds good too... That 900 through a 15/6 is nice isn't it.. I use mine through an AccuGroove..
That tone is amazing. I love the punch that it has, and the way it is upfront in the mix seems to compliment the song. The band sounds awesome too!
Well, yeah. But it was just a tad, as said. The guitarist could have also been given some more volume, that'd be fine either.

I would try and change the mix: the guitarist is too quiet/not EQ'd so that he's got his own slot. The bass, drums, and horns sound right.

You all sound fantastic. I really like your playing. That bass cuts right through the mix and you are moving the crowd. I am listening to it again right now- sweetness!
Sounds fantastic and works really well in that band setting, except if I were you I'd either lower the pickup or turn the volume down a bit on the amp, since it's distorting a tiny bit.
Totally!! I always try to get him to turn up a little more...and he does on solo's...but he's a jazzer...and just always sits a little below where I want him in the mix. That said...if I came down a little, well that would help too.
i liked it the way it is. you can just mess with it a tad from show to show. noone says you have to play with the same tone every gig. it's not a rule believe it or not. haha
i would put a little more high mid in there. it will make it pop just a bit more.
one thing i learned when playing in my band live and recording is you want a little more highs/high mid coming out of your amp than you really like. not a bunch or all you'll get is string noise but just a tad more. once it's mixed in with everything else it sounds great. if you just set it how you like it on your amp then when it's in the mix it sounds muddier than you want it to. i hope that makes sense. that was my experience with it anyways.
as for the lows i can't tell because i'm listening on a laptop computer and lows never come through good on a video anyways. lol
