First of all, great band! I've listened to more of your stuff on Youtube...really cool.
I dig the guitarist. Hard to find guitarists who can groove like that. Usually they try to dominate the whole thing and that simply isn't called for here.
I dig your tone on the Sterling. But I also dug whatever you used in the 2012 videos, I assume it's some kind of jazz. It's different, but it also sounds good. It's really a case of what makes you feel good and gets you smilling.
I like that you keep some kind of bottom to your sound. Often, in this type of band, bass players will lose the bottom trying to get that top end shine. But you hung on to it, which is cool and functional.
