I don't know about you folks, but 28 days later reminds me an awful lot of the left for dead series(games). anyone else feel that way?

28 Days Later came out way before Left 4 Dead, so I suppose it's the game that reminds you of the movie

Because of this thread in the past week I have watched audition, martyrs, ichi the killer, and most recently inside. I think I have to go on a pixar binge now. Inside was one of the goriest movies I've seen. I actaully bought it because no rental store had it available and I found a used copy for the price of renting it. It was truly a terrifying(in a good way) movie, an plan on lending to a few horror fans I know. I'm gonna have to give them the above explanation as to why I own it, so they don't think I'm nuts!!!

Everyone who is a fan of blood soaked film should give midnight meat train a spin(stupid title i know but get over it) Absolutly brilliant

Salo or 120 days of sodom will mentally scar you(if your into that sort of thing)
So will any of the seven guinea pig films,especially flowers of flesh and blood
Irreversable is amazing
Aftermath is one of the only films to actually put me off my food.
August Underground's Mordum is only really for people who want to watch snuff films but dont want to get arrested

Midnight Meat Train is a great one! If you haven't seen it yet, check out Let the Right One In. This is just a really great movie overall. There was a German movie Called "The Burning Moon" that I saw years ago and I'm still scarred by the level of gore and depravity that it offered.

The Shining still creeps me out. The part when she runs up the stairs and glimpses into that hotel room and somebody is wearing a bunny outfit. WTH.

In addition, I think that "bunny suit" scene had some weird homosexual aspect to it.

General discussion about horror movies. Favorites anyone? Who is a fan out there? Most of the movies I watch are horror.

The most recent one I watched was One-Eyed Monster with Ron Jeremy. Now that was a strange movie.

Yeah, I remember being bored by the first one, and I actually don't even own it (I only own parts 2 and 3, though I rarely watch part 3). Maybe I should go back and revisit it though... I've been meaning to buy the Sleepaway Camp Survival Kit to get the commentaries anyway.

I'm watching "the Haunting in Connecticut" right now. It sucks really bad.

Yeah pretty bad movie, I really liked Drag Me to Hell it was a decent horror movie with the funny parts just like the evil dead series.

Just watched "The Maid" on Asia Extreme. Pretty well done... and it's Singapore's first horror feature.

If you like Chinese ghost stories with modern videography you'll dig it.

I first saw this movie on tv when I was home "sick" from school around the age of 12. I'm not gonna give a review of the film since I'm not any good at it. I'll just say I like the movie and if you're a fan of 70's horror like I am, check it out.

Looks like "Duel" or something.

Has anyone seen Halloween 2 (the new one) yet? I have hopes for it, but the last one was kinda good/kinda meh. I've been watching it lately as it's on Showtime like every other day.

It is alot like Duel actually. I think Duel is the better of the two, but The Car has got James Brolin. That's got it's merit.

I haven't seen RZ's Halloween 2 yet, but friends of mine that have seen it said they had they same "meh" feeling as they did after seeing the first one. I thought RZ's Halloween was alright once you got past the backstory. I much prefer the original in that they didn't explain Myers entire childhood. It was more of a, "This is Mike. Mike killed his sister. Now Mike's a full grown monster." I think Zombie humanized the character too much by spending so much time on Michael's childhood. Now I hear Zombie is remaking-remaking The Blob. This could get bumpy.
