Damn! It's almost :25 past the hour...![]()
Dead Reckoning would get those self-appointed speed enforcers out of the way.

If the person doing the gating is being a tool, I do this...
Make sure my driver's window is down.
Open up my can of Coke.
Move to the right margin of my lane (Mr. Tool will start to move left, trust me!).
Hang my Coke out the window, about door handle height.
Allow the airflow to gently lift the Coke out of the can, in a thin ribbon-spray, all down the side of Mr. Tool's car.
If he doesn't back off immediately, pour a little faster and higher. Either he'll get the picture, or he'll need new paint soon...
It works almost as well as dropping a handful of roofing nails out your window!![]()
Or is it the omega post?[God = Soul] > Thought > Body > [Mind = Ego] > Action > Experience > Reaction![]()
(It's amazing -- This quote fits after any post on any subject! It's the universal post! It's the alpha post!)
I made it through 2 pages of this thread, and I already want to throw up a little. What if the guy behind you is trying to get to the hospital, where his wife/child/parent is dying? Or any other reason? Who do you think you are? If you want to play cop, go to a police academy, get a badge and then do it. Otherwise, get over yourselves!
Man....some of you have issues......
Ehem... dude... (with much respect and agreeing with you that if it's possible you should avoid any confrontation with someone tailgating you possibly letting them pass or at least allow a lot of space in front to give a guy behind to break)
1) there is 911, if a person trying to get to the hospital and wants to play ambulance then he should go school and become a Dr. Not risk everyones lives by reckless driver.
2) In rare case that some might need to go to hospital (and chances of person riding behind you tailgating in fact needs to get to hospital not some 16 year old who thinks it's cool is 1 out of million+). You can tell. In that case, yes, you move the hell out of the way. But you can tell if someone is riding you for hell of it or because it needs to pass.
Again, if someone needs to get to a hospital, there is no reason to risk even more lives to do so. That's what tailgater's/reckless driving essentially are doing. Risking my life and everyone else's on the road (including their own).
