how do you delete your own threads??

Hopefully a moderator will chime in,but there's already a post like this on page 3 ;)

These days I use the "thread tools" button, it's on your actual post, on the blue part, where "my talk bass" is..
you can close a thread
And re/open it too.
closing it keeps the post, so people can always see it.
But u get a warning message saying,"thread closed" if u try to post.
apparantly it's a safeguard, if someone makes a claim about something, the evidence is there forever.
I think it's good, in cases where u find out a guy was selling a fake les Paul for $1500, you have the proof, and he can't delete it after he's busted.
u can still delete replies I think.

it use to be different, there were both options there, "close" or "delete"
But it's changed.
