No one likes Donald Trump, end of conversation.I also find it strange that it's forbidden to discuss what a psychopath Donald Trump is, but it's fine to have an 'I Back A Hot Singer Babe' thread.
Not sure what era this forum is living in.

I more or less agree however, I haven't seen anyone not welcome if they disagree with the majority posting on a topic, unless they were being kinda jerky about it.I don't know. I guess I am just used to debate, and I think it's a healthy thing, and I think expressing opinions leads to shared knowledge and understanding. Maybe most people don't think that way.
I don't know. Disagreeing with the majority (or disagreeing with one particularly authoritarian mod) can be seen as 'being a jerk'. Which is a bit poopie.
Disagreeing with the majority doesn't make someone wrong. It just makes them unwelcome. I think making differing opinions unwelcome is a bad thing. If you can argue with those people you can at least understand what informed their opinion, maybe some people will change their opinions (although most are too proud), but either way at least you get to a position of understanding - assuming the correspondents aren't idiots - rather than just a rule-enforced begrudging acceptance.
It just doesn't seem very musicianly to me.
Or the "What are the ethics of putting a Fender decal on a Squier" threads.Don't know ... but one thing that should get you a one-way ticket out of here is posting "Fender vs Squier" threads.

Suggesting you pair a 115 with a 210 will do it.
Good to know that my dietary suggestions will not be tolerated on this forum. You can get warning points by suggesting that someone engage in cannibalistic behavior. But, to be honest, I deserved those points so I'm not grumping. Just don't be a jerk and all is well.
