How long have you had your flats on?

Only a few months, but I expect them to stay there for a long time, or until I get bored of them.

My TI's have been on for two years now.Still doing exactly what I want them to!
Ah cool, I was actually about to post a thread asking whether TI's age as well as other flats.
Coming up on six months. Have lost all of the 'new string' twang, but remain solid thud'ers.

I don't know. Years. So many I don't recall when I put them on the last time (I went back and forth between one set of GHS Joe Osborns and some DR Hi-Beams on the P bass before I settled on the flats for that bass). But it's been at least 4 years. The Sting's had a set of GHS Precision Flats (totally indistinquishable from the Laklands BTW) for about two years.

My TI's have been on for two years now.
about the same here.
My oldest are a set of LaBellas going on 5 years, and Sadowskys about 3. Both sound like the voice of God, just a little angrier when speaking through the Sads.

I have some Rotos and GHS strings on a couple of basses that are probably 4 years old.
My 2000 MIM Jazz has the original rounds on it....so 8 years in that case.
And my '63 P has flats that were installed no later than 1972...could be older. But they're at least 36 years old. They don't have much high end, but I don't want them to.

Well this is embarassing, but the Fender flats on my current '74 P have been on it for 3 years, but they came off the '75 I had previous, and were the original factory issued ones. So, they've been in constant service for 33 years. Yikes......
GHS precision Flats on my '51 reissue 3 or 4 years at least.
Just put TI flats on my J last May I think.
