As long as you’re meeting your other financial obligations, no.Is 385 too many basses for one man to own?
As long as you have the right sized house - no.
Does it alarm many of you that over 200 people voted 21+ basses? I think some members may need counseling.
Is 385 too many basses for one man to own? Been collecting for 30 years. Many of them are very old fenders starting with my 1951 Tadio Gomez / Leo Fender Models. I also have my father's collection and his brothers collection. Only 170 are really mine the rest I inherited. I have over 85 amazing instruments on loan to Hard Rock Cafe's all over the United States so others can enjoy them. All 85 belong to very famous guitar and bass players... Believe it or not the 170s that I have I play all of them and cycle through them so they all get love. I just had to move because I couldn't even walk in my house anymore. LOL
From your pictures it seems, you are storing most of them away in their cases. That wouldn't please me. I would like to show and play them. When all walls in my house are full, I guess I will stop. I am "just" at 16, so there's still wall space left to fill ..Is 385 too many basses for one man to own?
