Lovely! How do these perform, sound, feel? Been curious about this bass forever but no local store here carries schecter basses

Love it. Never had a hollow/semi-hollow that was active. All my others are passive with a few that have push/pull pots to activate coil splits.
No neck dive that I notice, but I play seated.
However, the back of neck is gloss.

@LowEndLobster did a great YT review.

May I ask how dis you get the Tagima? In Europe or in Brazil? My GAS iS focused on a JMJ4 but it seemed impossible to reach…

I don't have it anymore. I traded if for an Ibanez ATK300.

I got it used in Portugal. There are a lot o brazilian musicians living here and sometimes you get some Tagima for sale.

Updated 8 years later: Three fretted 4-strings, two fretless 5-strings, two fretted 6-strings, one each fretted 8-string, and fretted 5-string. So that's nine total.

Updated 13 months later: I got another fretted 4-string (an ABG) last December, but sold one of the other fretted 4-strings a month or so ago, so I'm still at nine total...but one of the fretted 6-strings is for sale, so hopefully down to eight soon. (Fingers crossed.)

Who ever refinished it did an awesome job.

They only came painted Black, White or Red.

This was originally Black. They were usually two or three pieces of wood. This appears to be one solid piece of poplar.

I'm now down to 3 basses. I Just got home from selling my Peavey T-40 bass and T-60 guitar to get my instrument count back to something I can live with and neatly stash in the corner of my closet. Both were very underutilized in my possession for all the bells and whistles they had and I just didn't feel like playing them much for more then a year so I let them go.

Now it's just my Schecter J-4, Westone Pantera X775, and Kramer XL-24 remaining.

#28 is on the way! Turning out to be a 31 Wedding Anniversary (Next week) /Christmas gift so despite my saying I don't need another, it is something that my family has always gifted me with for years and I feel blessed that they do.
