How many gigs did you play in 2015?

Right around 50 or so. I actually took about 3 months off from my one band I play with this summer. Probably would have been about 65 or 70 If I hadn't.

My new band that I started in the spring is just getting to the point of playing gigs. We have only done two paying gigs this year but hopefully will have quite a few next year. We are not really looking to play more than a couple of times a month.
I did do a handful of sub gigs this year too, but it was fewer than a dozen.

I should be counting, but I average about 4 gigs a week mostly during the week...ive had this schedule for the last 5 1/2 years, I can't wait till my contract is over LOL, cuz I get salary, now if it was per gig that'd be different....

I played around twenty performances with three different groups, probably sixteen four hour paying gigs. The main band got so many offers this past year and had to turn more down than we actually played. cuz we hate doing two nights in a row . . . our lead singer is out of town for business an awful lot . . . we need at least five hundred dollar guarantee to cover a five piece band plus the sound man. Lots of places offered us four hundred "plus more if a lot of people show up . . . " yeah right, no thanks.
That band has its last gig january ninth, and I'm moving on to a classic rock/soul band with seventeen gigs booked already (have to play keys for them). I also play bass in a modern rock cover band that has zero gigs booked, tho we played four gigs last year. We're terrible at booking.

25/30 +- bar gigs for me this year. I miss being in a band that does private parties and corporate events. In my neck of the prairie, that means country not rock.

I played four gigs with the high-concept band that I just parted ways with and picked up another one with my previous band. In theory, I could find a way to gig as much as I wanted and this year, I just wasn't interested in more than that.

67 this year, down from 106 last year. For 2016 we're trying to cut back to just Saturdays.

I had probably five or eight pub gigs this year, plus a few more performances that were unpaid like benefit gigs, church and such. I didn't count open mics, which would put me in the neighborhood of 30-40, so I'm classifying myself as somewhere between 10-20.

Been averaging a little over 200 for a few years now. Back in my Legends in Concert days, it was probably around 650/year (12 shows/week for most of the year plus extra weekend gigs). Probably my heaviest year ever would have been '99 which was that schedule plus Thursday/Friday/Saturday for most of the season, so probably like 700+. Don't ever plan on or want to get back to that anymore lol.
