How many gigs did YOU play last year?

my band did around 27 I think..pretty much good for me since we always take all of January and February off..I would probably play more but a lot of the guys in my band are happy playing what we do and our drummer is in another band which by default limits what we can play because they generally book out a couple months ahead of us...we get the leftovers ha ha..which I don't mind..

Seeing at how it's the new year, I took a look back at the gigs I did between the 2 bands I'm in, and a few fill in gigs I did.
I'm not a gig machine as I have a full time day job which limits me a bit, but I still managed to sneak in 45 gigs last year. One of the bands I play in, the keyboardist is a full time gig machine (he does small nursing and senior home solo gigs, plays with multiple bar and wedding bands, etc.), and didn't quite make it to 600 last year.
That's right. 597 gigs in one year!
So I'm curious what some of you guys tallied up over the last 12 months.
I shoot for 2 or 3 a month so I think I did ok overall.
How about it? What say you bass bretheren?
Only 15 this past year. Down from 24 the year before.

Went through last year's calendar - - 34 gigs.

That's just about as many as I'd like to play (about 3 per month) unfortunately they tend to cluster around Summer, making November-February, gigging deserts.

Anyway, I already have 14 gigs booked for this year so I expect to total about as many as last year.
