It's telling that you feel the need to create "facts" to support your argument.
Again if you're a bedroom player, that's alright. Just own up to it! I'm not telling anyone they should be ashamed of being a bedroom player... apparently they're feeling that all on their own. I didn't plan it, it's just the way it's going.

I answered no. I have Markbass Supersynth and Moogerfooger Low pass that I use for 1-2 songs. Fuzz and overdrive are on almost the whole show. No delays, choruses, phasers. If I had them they would just sit on the board.
But this is only for one band that needs all this. with most of the other artists/bands I will carry the board only for the drive and wireless receiver.

Look, you would have no beef unless you were a bedroom player that can't handle being a bedroom player. I'm not passing judgement, I just want an accurate poll. If that's so hard for you just don't answer and leave the thing alone. I don't expect a lot of honest answers.
No, if you keep a pedal on your board and don't use it. And trust me, you don't have more money to spend on pedals than me.

Why would someone be ashamed of not using all his pedalboard... and you asked if we use our pedals on AT LEAST 3 songs. There are many effects that I use on one or two songs only, so my answer to your poll is NO. But that doesn't mean I don't use my effects

No I don't think you need to have effects to be a good bass player. I'm only curious as to how many bassists have plenty of effects but don't use them very much... It seems to me that there's more wannabes here than players, and I'm just curious.

I've a feeling it gets you into trouble from time to time.
Actually it looks like it's going way horribly for you as everyone now thinks you're drunk and obnoxious. The only thing you've got going for you at this point is that many of these folks probably haven't heard you play. Better hope they don't, either, because you aren't as good as you think you are.
then I think you might be right. I'm pretty sure many of us have effects not much used. But again, there are some effects too specific that can't be used very often. (for example, I don't use often my chorus, but sometimes I need it ; and I won't take it off my pedalboard, because I use it at every gig).

I gig with some of my pedals up to your mythical standard of three or more tunes each. Other pedals sit at home as they don't have a use in my current lineups.

When I look at PYPB thread, you see boards that are definitely gig-usable, while others (and I have posted a few a these myself, such as the "fun" board pic posted yesterday) are probably staying in the basement/rehearsal space, IMO.
I answered yes: I use a small Board (Boss BCB) which carries a max of 7 pedals and which I assemble according to gig needs. So for the moment I've got:
Noise suppressor, Tuner, Compressor and SansAmp: always on.
BBM: used for a few songs next gig.
Neo Clone and Small Stone: used as spice for passages in most songs we play.
